Baking Babies: Manna Cafe and Larcy's

My family has been pigging out lately and we've been trying out the restaurants that we haven't been to around BF. Last Saturday night had us prowling the streets once again after hearing mass, looking for yet another hidden haven of food. We've tried out Al Sham's and Don Limone but sadly my camera wasn't with me therefore I didn't have the chance to blog about them so I'm making sure I pay them another visit so I could properly tell you guys all about them.

Anyway, as I was saying, after the mass we drove around a bit to look for a restaurant. My sister suggested that we try out the new one called Manna since she's been seeing the advertisements all over especially when she rode the tricycle hehe. On the way to Manna though, we saw new restaurants like Crazy Katsu and the super pretty (even from the outside and at 40 kph) and super new cupcakery cafe Larcy's!

We really liked the interior since it was so homey plus the lighting was so good and so bright making me feel all clean and fresh and stuff.

Right across the actual restaurant was a tiny bakery still under the name Manna. It was so cute, the items were pricey but after trying the thingy that they had on sale, nfkrjbdffd we understood why they costed that much.

The food arrived and they looked so pretty almost too pretty to eat but we did and it was like a party in our tummy tums!!

Spare ribs I think

The paprika roasted chicken thingy with rice

Paprika roasted chicken with the cute mashed potatoes

And the super yummy apple cider steak thingy
We really found a restaurant worth going back for in Manna. The place was very cozy, it had WiFi, the food was the boooooomb and the people were really nice!

After stuffing ourselves, we went to Larcy's since we really wanted to see it and also because there was a huge sign saying that it just opened on that day hehe and we got so intrigued. Inside, there were lots of people but again the ambiance was really nice and the interior was SO DANG PRETTY!! It looked like it was sponsored by Heima or something huhu.

Cutecutecutecute chairs hihi

Since they only had limited flavors available that time, we only tried out the Pink Velvet cupcake and the Sweet Tamarind cupcake. They were both good hehe.

Before our orders arrived, we got Taro and Oreo drinks as well hehe and my my my the taro tasted like heaven I swear it was so delicious I wanted to marry it.

Our food excursions lately have done nothing but make our family bond and enjoy food and make us cheerier and jollier people. It also made our love for BF Homes greater since we could have different food from different parts of the world. You can have pork chop that melts in your mouth from Atoy's, thuper duper yummy Mediterranean food from Al Sham's and Le Souk, very rich Italian food from Mama Lou's and a whole lot more with just one tricycle ride. My innerfatty says yay BF!

La Familia

Lately, my family and I have been spending so much time together that it had my sister and I thinking there was some huge bad news about our family cos it was too good to be true. But nope, no bad news, just the Christmas spirit in the air, getting inhaled by everyone in the household thus making us all generous and cheery and spontaneous and easier to be persuaded hehe.

We went to the mall earlier to bond and to run some errands. We first went to Metro and my sister went to her happy place aka Carolinas while I got my picture taken with the wall of tupperwares.

Mah tuh ruhy

After that we went to Town and convinced ourselves to fall in line for some donuts mehehe. So while in line, we took pictures and people watched and people watched some more.

Hi!

After getting our donuts, we went to the best food court in the world since it was a choice between that and the neighboring Chinese restaurant which my sister and I weren't in the mood for. Here is what happened then.................

And so the House of Mesina set forth towards where the hearty scents of various spices and whatnot were coming from. A large feast was then held for the reason that the House of Mesina's hunger rivaled that of a lion who is very very very very very hungry. After their sumptuous meal, they wandered around the vast mall and found themselves in Hobbes and Landes where the head of the House was challenged by a fresh opponent on a game of Game of the Generals. Accounts say that this was done so since the head looked ready for slumber and so was kept awake while the lasses set about and looked at what the said shop has to offer.

Nolan of House Mesina, a most noble knight indeed

HUZZZZZZAHHHH!!!!!!!
Before this tale draws to a close, here is an image that is in motion. This depicts the 2 sisters and the head of House of Mesina enjoying a game in the toys section...........................................................................

Christmas is so near!!! Stay tuned this week miladies and milords!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bangs & Manangs

I woke up today and after kicking off the blankets, I found myself still covered in one. A blanket of my hair that is. I've been itching to get my hair cut for some time now since I now have the tendency to resemble ghostly apparitions and manangs HAHA.

The problem with my hair is that it has feelings. I once cut it to a very short length and it took me a year or so to have it back at its original length. So no matter how I wish to have short hair, I know my decision will bite me in the heiny come February aka Prom month since I don't think I'll be able to werqqq it if I have a short mane.

Anyhoo, I finally gathered my balls and set myself up for a haircut...but since we were a bit loopy earlier, I decided to let my sister cut my hair right in our living room!! I even set up like a mat of newspapers and placed a chair right in the middle.

Not much really changed except that my hair has blunt ends now HAHA and that I have slight bangs. The difference may not be noticeable but it feels quite huge. The good thing tho is that I can still make a bun with my hair without the aid of pony tails so hooray for that.

I'm not sure if I'll get this fixed at a real salon or just let my sister's creation be HAHA but one thing's for sure................................................................................................Christmas is near woopie hihihihihihi!!!!

We Run MNL 2012

I had my second official 10k run today at the SM Mall of Asia since I joined the Nike We Run MNL thing hihi. My mum decided to skip this one out and so I was alone and wearing cycling shorts huhu and drowning in a sea of people.

Rhian Ramos and Bianca King and KC Montero hehe

I ran and ran and ran and jogged and jogged and jogged. The sporadic DJ booths were seriously God-sent. They really kept my blood pumping. And the goodie bag section sans the bag was so organized. It was unlike any other run I've participated in.

My mum and dad took a nap so they dint get to take a picture of my crossing the finish line so my dad had me running so he could take photos and this is what happened.............

Hehe cute car hehe
We got home and we were met by Katy and Perry just finishing up their morning jog!! They were so unruly and so daaaaaang playful it was so hard to take pictures of them.

VAMPIRE PERRY

Ate Ann and Ate Joy surprised us or maybe I was the only one surprised, with breakfast out in the garden! It was so unusual and so nice and I ended up scarfing down food like something that eats a lot HAHA.

@ Hacienda Mesina.................................................joke
I'm really really happy with my time since it's improved since KOTR. I guess I'll join 1 more 10k race and start working my way up to 16!!

BLURGA BLURGA BLURGA

This long weekend has so far been very very good to me. Thursday night had me and my dad eating out while waiting for my mum, Friday was a super fun shopping day with Twinkle and Bea and today, our Chemistry project making was cut short so I could be with my family on a very random and unusual shopping trip.

My dad picked me up from Twinkle's and we headed to the mall to meet up with my mum and my sister. I was in a sort of foul mood since my nap in the car was disturbed and so I wandered to the toy section for a while and got lost in toys hihi. I then finally found my family and asked my mum if I could buy the 4D dino puzzle I've been ogling since Friday's trip to the mall.

After a hearty dinner, we went home and I got to putting the pieces of the puzzle together hehe. While I was assembling the stand, I proclaimed myself to be puzzle-wise dumb. But then I started actually getting the pieces right so I stripped myself of my self-proclaimed title and got to working. When only 6 pieces were left, nothing was going right HEHE. The puzzle was kicking my heiny so my sister decided to help me out and now it's all pretty and I want to share it with you guys.....since Christmas is just around the corner hehe just kidding hehe hehe.
