Revisiting The Most Beautiful Ukay Spot in the World

A few hours after GOLD, my family and I dragged our sleepy buts to our car and headed to Pangasinan for my grandmother's, uncle's, nephew's, cousin's and dad's birthday celebration. After getting a measly 2 hour slumber in the comfort of my own bed, it was no surprise that my sister and I slept throughout the 4 hour trip.  We were greeted by warm smiles and this beautiful piece of work.

To kill time, we went to the amazing Wagwag ukay ukay but and on the way we passed by this uber provincial/scenic view of the tobacco plantation and so we took pictures of it and the kind man tending it.

Going back to The Most Beautiful Ukay Spot in the World felt like a homecoming of some sort hihi. The first stall thingy we went to had a huge pile of clothes that were only for P5 each!! Now that we had a lot of time on our hands unlike the last time we went there, we definitely scoured the place for treasures and boy did we find them!

This shirt has been on my mind since we last visited and when I finally made up my mind (with the help of my friends) that it isn't sacrilegious, I asked for its price and found out it wasn't for sale HUHUHU turns out the shirt was acting as their protector to ward off business bad luck

Unlike the last time we were in the area, we got the chance to explore other neighboring ukay ukay places! The other's aren't like the huge one that we love but they were good in their own ways.

Russet's 1st Collection: Meraki

I'm so stoked to show you guys my sister's first collection woop woop!! With all the advertising I'm doing, it feels like all the hours I spent hypnotized by the Home Shopping Network has finally paid off. Anyway, here goes my sales lady spiel: 

Do you still not have gifts for your family and friends this Christmas? Have you been too busy/stressed to go tick off the names on your Christmas shopping list? Are you broke? I have solutions for 2 of the 3 questions hehe. Check out Russet's first collection entitled Meraki and since it's online it wouldn't be THAT much of a hassle amirite hehehehe. Meraki, P280

This baby is a celebrity since she was named after the collection itself. Meraki means to do something with love in some language that I have forgotten already. It's very nice and I hate myself for using that generic word but I really am dumb when it comes to describing accessories huhu but seriously I'D WEAR THIS!! 

Meraki likes long walks on the beach, watching the sunset, reading good books while having a cup of tea every Tuesday. 

Foxxy, P250

Foxxy was named after Foxxy Cleopatra from Austin Powers!! This is Orange-y. If you like the color Orange, you should buy this to prove your love for the said color. Or if you're a fan of Beyonce, you too should buy this. If your favorite color is Orange and your favorite person is Beyonce, you should buy two!

Foxxy is one foxy lady. She likes to solve crimes and hangs out in various parlors. She likes to cook and has 3 cats.

Gab. P220

Last but definitely not the least...........we have Gab!!! Hehehe we have me hehehehe!! But sadly nope I am not for sale, but this one definitely is! This is MY baby. The first time I saw it on my sister's table I fell instantly in love with it. I love it because it looks so dainty yet so deliciously gruesome. It seriously reminds me of Mad-Eye Moody from Harry Potter albeit a tea-party-attending Alastor. 

Gab likes to paint. Gab likes to hang and wrap herself around your wrist. Gab likes to watch movies. Gab can sit on your desk for a long time. Gab can also be won in the other Gab's upcoming Birthday Giveaway wooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

 I was so giddy and excited for the second part of the Deathly Hallows after reading HP7 that I decided to make some sort of fan art in honor of Harry Potter. I googled the Golden Trio but couldn't find a picture that I could draw or paint and, I eventually settled on a screencap of Hermione in HP3.

I probably got the highlighting stuff wrong, but looking at it and seeing that it sorta resembles Hermione's hair and the fact that it's my first decent painting makes me so happy! Now, I'm trying to mix the colors that I ground in the perfect skin tone shade, which is proving to be more difficult than I thought. I think I added too much red because now it looks a bit like Pepto-Bismol. Too bad I haven't got any white paint left :(

I've been on a Harry Potter spree since our internet connection became stable. After a weekend of browsing through weheartit and this amazing tumbleblog, I'm glad to tell you that my Harry Potter folder is now very full and most likely can cause pottergasm. I seriously have no idea where I'll get the money to buy the movies on dvd and in order for me not to cry, I will indulge and post lovely lovely pictures of everything about Harry Potter! Beware of extremely adorable Ron Weasleys, mustached Harry Potters, delectable Malfoys and girl-crush-causing Hermione Grangers.
