& Of The World

Last week had me finally visiting my dentist after a gajillion years, catching up on my cross stitching and watching The Munsters causing me to broaden my love for monsters. I don't limit myself now to just zombies, rather, I've grown fond of monsters by Boris Karloff hehe. Anyhoo, I decided to draw Uncle Herman and the classic Bride of Frankenstein, after 2 days or so of flooding people's Instagram, Twitter and Facebook feeds, I finally finished them hehe.

All this talk of monster couples has got me thinking about the upcoming very fancy party wherein we get to dress up as...fancy people also known as our prom. I just think and wish people would just stop whining about specific venues and other pubertial stuff. What matters is if you'd have fun or not. And that would depend on your initial attitude towards the party itself. Because really, if you come to a party wherever it'd be held, buzzing in excitement then you're bound to enjoy the night lest someone pours a bucket of pig's blood all over you and your purty purty dress then you really have the right to get majorly pissed off.

Other than that, I truly hope this year's remaining major events turn out to be magical and definitely memorable for all of us!!!!! This is the point where I get all sentimental since we only have more or less 2 months to go til the school years ends and the sweaty-palm inducing college entrance exams loom ominously and slowly inch closer.

This is also the part where I'd end this post in a witty way
but I really can't think of anything witty to say
so maybe this is the price I'd have to pay.

Of Huge Eyes, Aqualine Noses and Full Lips

I was itching to draw last night. The kind of itch when you feel like you're a loaded brush just waiting to be used and if you don't take action, you'll spill and leave droplets or simply be a waste. It was like I could really feel my creative juices flowing inside me haha! I only planned on starting the outline but I ended up pushing my homework away for a while and worked on it. It felt so good to finally go back to my bubble and just draw.

Sort of my first time to draw a face that wasnt facing me

Bleached eyebrows hehe

The Opposite of Wild

Here are just some old stuff I worked on last year that I found while looking for a piece of board to print my new name tag on. The first one is just something that I doodled while in school while the second one is the result of my failed attempt at drawing a raccoon. Instead of ending up with a bandit, I somehow turned it into a human being with a serious need for concealer hehe.

So far, this week has been Okay with a capital O. Nothing that exciting has happened yet, the most was the announcement that classes will be cut at 1pm on Friday yay. I did however finally got transferred to Journalism class tho and I brought my camera with me to school today and man did it feel weird to use it inside the campus. I'm hoping and praying that the photos don't have a green tint care of the Amadome!! Today's also Bianca Fabia the girl wonder's birthday. By girl wonder I meant annoyingly tall and has amazing hair like 24/7 ugh why doesn't your fringe get sweaty, Bianca? Huhuhu joke.

Anyway, tomorrow we have a long test in Advanced Algebra and an oral defense in Research. I need all the luck (and rest) (and duh, knowledge) I can get!!!

Flash Flash Flash Photography

I was flipping through my 6th grade sketchpad when I came across this unfinished compilation of cameras that I coveted at that time. Not much has changed tho, I still dont possess most of them :( It's such a coincidence because lately I've been craving to get my hands on a couple of film cameras. My small 'obsession' first reared its head when I got my first prints developed. From then on, I've gone downhill and I keep falling in love with cameras heehee. All my searching for online camera stores here in the Philippines has led me to unearth these super beautiful cameras. I hope by the time I turn 16, I can get my very very very eager paws on these babies!

Filler

Last Friday and Saturday our internet connection got way wonky and so we were left to spend those days internet-free. Since most stores and malls were closed last Good Friday, we just went to ruins to buy a couple of dvds and to the grocery store for some afternoon snacks.

Adorable neighbor's puppy that got lost and wound up in our garage haha!

I painted and drew again after a million years. The painting was sucky at best but the sketches were somewhat okay looking. I hope. I also unearthed a bunch of my old sketchpads! The ones that I treated like a diary last summer hehe. It was so cool flipping through it, a bit nostalgic but still fun.

Florence keeping me company huhu

I took a break from all the artsy stuff and visited my sister in her lair. She's been studying like crazy for her tests but she took the time to point out that our wallpapers in our phones are so wild hahah.

l-r. Sister's, Mum's, Mine hahahah
We have our internet connection na yay. Hopefully this is the last incident for the whole vacation haha. happy Easter everyone!!!!!

Ms. Crooked-Nose

Today in Bio class, we dissected a pig's heart! I never knew it was so cool; I felt like a doctor. It even made me WANT to be a doctor for a minute but then I realized my patient's family wouldn't be too happy to find out that I played with their relative's heart. Literally.

Anyway, here's an old drawing of mine. Say hello to ms. crooked-nose!

HairyHairy

I love all types of hair. It amazes me how a person's hairstyle can speak volumes about their personality. I also like how there can be blondes, brunettes, redheads and multi-color haired people. It just goes to show how different we are from one another.

That's where I got this idea of mine to draw different hairstyles. I watched tons of youtube videos on how to draw realistic hair because squiggly lines black blobs got a bit old to me. So, here are the 3 types of hair that I've finished. If you have any suggestions on what type of hairstyle I should draw next, just leave a comment or something haha

Da Dahk Mahk

I'm totally with the Light but you've got to admit being a Death Eater, Lucius sharing his hair products with you, Greyback fetching the paper, Bellatrix teaching you how to bag the man of your dreams and having Voldie as your leader sounds way wicked.

I finally scanned this baby!

Guess Who This Schmexy Beast Is

The temporary internet connection's been so intermittent. I gave up on it a while ago and decided to mess around on GIMP with some of my drawings. Since it's already late and I can't sleep, let's play a game of Guess Who This Schmexy Beast Is! Winners will get a hearty 'congratulations' from me. Now who would want to miss that?

Butter Braid

Look at that sexy attempt at photography

I spent the whole day cooped up again. My mum and dad were already gone by the time my sister and I woke up around noon and after lunch, our maids left as well for the afternoon to help clean the new house.

My sister and I got hungry around 4 and since there weren't any adults around, we settled on making popcorn, also because it was the only food available in the house :( We had 2 flavors, 1 butter and 1 cheese and we decided to get half of each. The butter flavored one was tasteless and the cheese flavored one was too dang salty so.... we took the free tub of lite butter that I got from the run, melted it, and poured it on our popcorn!

I didn't have anything to do so I started looking for inspiration cos I was seriously itching to draw. After a few failed attempts at drawing in my notebook, I decided on using the spare index cards that I had scattered on the floor. I ran out of ink too while working on the top half of it and I had a mini heart attack. I called my dad to go pick up some on the way home but then he told me we had a spare. Yayayay.
