Yesterday

First and last attempt at painting gem stones circa last year hahahaha
I haven't updated this for 11 days and I feel so bad about it huhu it's just that school has been draining the life out of me lately and I can't exactly blog while I'm dead. Last Thursday we had the Speech Choir thing in school and this coming Friday, we'll have the most anticipated Carol Fest eliminations. Since we only have a short time left to prepare for it, our class met up yesterday to practice.

It was such a long day and we visited Jazz who's been confined in a hospital because of some stupid mosquito biting her and giving her dengue. Russ, Twinkle, Nona, Erik and I met up with Kurt and Selvin so we could go visit Jazz. We rode the LRT to Edsa and went on the shuttle with lots of holes on it hehe and we missed our stop by a little since I was too busy analyzing Derek Ramsay's Amazing Race billboard and the sunlight on my face gave me thoughts on how it must feel to be an average Filipino laborer commuting in that hour and stuff hehe. So we missed our stop and we had to walk a bit.

Jazz was in the NiƱos Inocentes ward which is basically for children. The walls were so colorful and if it weren't for the distinct smell of a hospital, I would've thought I was in the Museo Pambata. We caught up with Jazz, played with the wheelchairs hehe, weighed ourselves and drank Jazz's drinks yay. After, we divided our group into the Manila group and the South people and went our separate ways. Nona, Erik and I waited and walked around Baclaran in order to ride a bus home. I felt like I was in an indie film or something since the orange lights made everything seem cinematic like the children playing, the workers eating on a rectangular kiosk, people just sitting on the ground resting, people selling and yelling.

The three of us waited with the other people in Baclaran to ride our bus but the only buses that passed by us weren't for us and there was an ungodly amount of jeeps that we contemplated riding one but alas while we were already walking towards the overpass thing, Nona spotted a bus that had 'Pilar' on it and we went all crazy running towards it. The inside was so packed and it really felt like we were in a scene from 3 Idiots or Slumdog Millionaire.

After a while, Erik got off and Nona as well. I was left sitting beside an old woman on the 3-seater seats. Then this old man got on the bus and sat on my right side and it was like I was their granddaughter hehehehehehehe. I finally got off at my stop and was fetched by my dad and ate dinner and took a bath and talked to people a bit and went to bed. I was expecting to be dead to the world til at least 12 noon but once again, my traitorous body betrayed me and I woke up at 7 and now I really can't be sure if we have any homework or not yay.

Joke's On You

I painted yesterday and used up the last page of my sketch pad from last year yay. It was really nice to just paint and unwind. I could definitely see myself doing it in the future like in a remote cottage or something or on a balcony in a house in Ireland nyahaha.

Had to leave it at this since we had to leave
We went to the mall to accompany my sister in buying her shoes hehe. It was our first time after a million years of going to the mall as a family. Lately it's always been just me and my sister or me and my friends or my sister alone or my mum and dad only or my sister and my parents together.

While waiting for my dad hehe

This is how we carried the rugs we bought nyahahaha

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Pops faking a smile to fit the whole 'family bonding' thing on the cup HAHAHAHAHAH

Elementary days nyehehe

Got scolded for taking pictures but it was so fun to layer winter clothes hehehehehehe
I was so so so so so so so so so stoked to go home so I could sit in my room and continue painting hehehehe.

Ta-da. It became a snobby fat guy in a joker get-up hehe

Trains For May, Shaun

Hi. Today is the 4th day of my ~isolation huzzzzzah. I have done nothing but sing High School Musical songs, watch the very very educational Ancients Behaving Badly series on youtube, eat like some huge mammal (I was gonna say Mammoth but I'm not really sure if the silent beasts have huge appetites or not heh) and try not to pick my scabs. I read a comic book today, finished 4 episodes of American Horror Story yesterday making me excited for the second season, started on my projects and earlier, I challenged myself a series of speed..drawing/painting. I gave myself 30 minutes per set and after that, I wouldn't touch up or fix anything anymore.

By the way, I am seriously loving my Prang watercolor set now. I've decided to let my Winsor and Newton pocket set rest for a while since I'm running very low on the red and I made the mistake of using the mixing pallet for acrylic and now it's all crusty in a bad way and I haven't felt like cleaning it yet hehe. So I've been using Prang for a while and...I'm loving it hehe. Now that I look at it, they've got a lot in common and their differences seem to be trivial. It's just that my Prang set is bigger and has fewer colors and attracts ants. Other than that, they're quite alike.

Staying at home, surrounded by the peace that comes with a near empty house, has done something to my artistic soul. The serenity that I am feeling has touched my heart, entered my brain and is now running freely through my veins. I am slowly but surely turning into..................................................a fossil.

Hi, My Name is Gab

It was quite a lovely day earlier and I stayed holed up in my room trying to learn about Baroque architecture, Minoan civilization and other stuff for our upcoming exams this week. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts of making my window's screen invisible with my mind, I finally got up, went outside and took pictures. I took a lot of pictures of the birds outside and the plants too. I feel very......earthy.

the very girly things outside my window

the last time i took a picture of our battered washing machine was with my film cam, now that i took it with a digital one it looks very sad and very lonely as opposed to the very vintage and ~cool~ vibe that it gave off when i used my film cam

perry's face when i told him bella cheated on edward

if i were to become a motivational poster designer id put a text saying 'fly high!' HAHAHAHA

im a cliche

a quick doodle i made of pentatonix. i still havent gotten around posting an entry about my love for them simply because i still cant think of how to organize my thoughts. if i were to try writing about them now, it would be a series of exclamation points, omg's and a ton of 'ahhhhhhhhhhhh's

i was tryna draw a person but then it went badly so i turned it into a cat thingy

my project to do list from hell

Of Huge Eyes, Aqualine Noses and Full Lips

I was itching to draw last night. The kind of itch when you feel like you're a loaded brush just waiting to be used and if you don't take action, you'll spill and leave droplets or simply be a waste. It was like I could really feel my creative juices flowing inside me haha! I only planned on starting the outline but I ended up pushing my homework away for a while and worked on it. It felt so good to finally go back to my bubble and just draw.

Sort of my first time to draw a face that wasnt facing me

Bleached eyebrows hehe
