Filler

Last Friday and Saturday our internet connection got way wonky and so we were left to spend those days internet-free. Since most stores and malls were closed last Good Friday, we just went to ruins to buy a couple of dvds and to the grocery store for some afternoon snacks.

Adorable neighbor's puppy that got lost and wound up in our garage haha!

I painted and drew again after a million years. The painting was sucky at best but the sketches were somewhat okay looking. I hope. I also unearthed a bunch of my old sketchpads! The ones that I treated like a diary last summer hehe. It was so cool flipping through it, a bit nostalgic but still fun.

Florence keeping me company huhu

I took a break from all the artsy stuff and visited my sister in her lair. She's been studying like crazy for her tests but she took the time to point out that our wallpapers in our phones are so wild hahah.

l-r. Sister's, Mum's, Mine hahahah
We have our internet connection na yay. Hopefully this is the last incident for the whole vacation haha. happy Easter everyone!!!!!

Patron Saint of Animals

After our Visita Iglesia, I finally got the chance to tick off something from my 'bucket list' which is to go to Cartimar! I've heard that they sell miniature pot-bellied pigs in that place so I was so stoked when we got there thinking that I'd finally be able to meet one. The pictures were mostly taken by my sister because I couldn't help but fawn over the adorable animals hehe.

Cartimar sign looking all rugged

Flaglet fetish oye
Dog clothes!

Adorable sleeping Pomeranian!!
This kitty actually says 'meow' to people!! I went near her cage and she didn't get all primitive panicky on me instead she calmly stared at me with her kitty eyes and said meow all real and slow heehee so cute!

The Mexican blabladog. Poor creatures don't have any fur :(

Hehe this dog got a little excited and tried to fit himself through the cage

SAGWA!!!!!!!!!

Heheheh

I left Cartimar a bit disappointed since we found out that the pig vendor didn't show up today since it's a holiday. And the news that they rarely see raccoons being sold in there didn't help either huhu. We were a tired and sweaty mess so we decided to have our lunch at Razon's to bask in the aircon and the halo-halo woohoo.

If ever Cartimar goes on a let's say End-of-the-World Sale and everything is 100% off, I'd seriously 'buy' every cute darn thing I lay my eyes on and build a zoo. It will be the prettiest and cleanest and most colorful zoo in the entire universe.

Maundy Thursday

What you do during Maundy Thursday depends on your beliefs and what your family's tradition is. My family and I had our Visita Iglesia today. We went to 7 churches and for each church we had 2 stations to cover. We've been doing this for a looooooong looooooong time now so we thought that we'd be pretty much immune to the heat. But nooooo way jose!! The sun was so high and I felt like my back and forehead were constantly moist with perspiration ughhh. Nonetheless, I enjoyed this day a lot! :)

Our first stop was PCJ which is inside BF so when we got there, it wasn't that humid....yet!

Flaglets(?) outside our 2nd church

Masha, Fasha and Sissy!

Popcorn vendor with the whole carnival-esque aura! (3rd church)

We passed by Mesina Funeral Homes on our way to our 5th church hehe good thing it wasnt an omen
The 'grabe-nakakaOC-naman-yang-design-na-yan wall'. As described by my sister HEHE

St. Therese's Church is so beautiful ughhhhh

The Therese Girls!

St. Therese's is a special place for our family. It was where both my sister and I were baptized. Hence, our second names are Therese! Mum tells me that the church has changed since the time of our baptism and I can see what she's talking about. St. Therese's architecture and design and nearly everything is just magnificent haha. Visita Iglesia every year is so fun and it makes me feel very very very light and oh so good! :)

Cheesecake Day

Last Saturday, Nath and Chloe went to my house for a 'cheesecake date'. We actually planned on going to different places via tricycle but since we were short on cash and we only had a few hours, we just decided to go to ruins and, buy dvds. Before we went home, we stopped at a nearby grocery store in hopes that they sell Magnum. Lo and behold, they had none. We bought a couple of movie snacks though to appease our tummehhhs.

We watched The Woman in Black and although we got creeped out and scared by the movie, we couldn't stop ourselves from cracking Harry Potter jokes. Hehe I know so mature.
