Summer Giveaway!

Hi guys!! Summer is just around the corner for all of us and what better way to celebrate the end of a very marvelous school year, than to have (or join hehe) a giveaway. But before I tell you all about it, let me first share about The Kargadors. They are a group of raccoons that I have had the opportunity to own all thanks to Twinkle's raccoon-dar and they are critters with uber manly names. 

I call them The Kargadors because of their names and because I think kargadors in general and construction workers are the bomb. Seriously, I wouldn't mind being a carpenter and all that jazz for a living. You get to build houses and sweat which is like a work out already and you get to be on top of buildings and I bet the feeling of working so hard and seeing the house or building you've worked on already erect and function has got to be so good. 

Anyhoo, The Kargadors is composed of Edgar, Bogart, Bruno and the latest addition, Paeng. I am telling you this because..............Paeng is..............Russet's newest and freshest brand ambassador...talo pa ako HAHAHA.

I've tried to have my outfit shots taken but I really am the most awkward creature when it comes to those kinds of things so instead of a photo, here's a video of what I wore because I liked it a lot. It made me feel like an undercover Lara Croft/rOcKeR cHiCk/cat hehehehehehehe. Last night, after a very lovely day spent with Cheesecake, we went to Cavite for Ate Nina's despedida. Ate Nina is one of the greatest people in the world. I cannot begin how to describe how warm and loving and sweet she is without sounding overtly gay and without becoming very sad.

We went to their house in Cavite and had yummy yummy dinner and after my sister gave her going away gifts, we decided that we were bored and headed out to the District mall....for another round of dinner.

We ate and I checked out the Toys R Us there and ate and had fun and laughed and walked around and ate and ate.

We'll definitely miss you, Ate Nina. We love you so much and I hope you don't get very sad in Dubai. I hope you feel empowered by our love and support huhu we'll miss you so much pero I know you're a strong girl and you can take this and for sure you'll handle this with grace :D I love you mwah good luck!!!!!!!!!!!

Russet's 2nd Collection: Kalokairi

Kalokairi is Russet's 2nd collection and it is........................out!! It is a word of Greek descent meaning beautiful summer hihi just in time for summer 2013. This collection is divided into three sub parts, Navajo, Nautical and Holi, each with a different feel to it. You've got the very Native American-y Navajo, the staple blue and red and white colors of Nautical and the ever so vibrant pieces of Holi.

Gab's Birthday Giveaway!

I first thought of having a giveaway on the day our report cards were released way back in the first quarter. I wanted to base the giveaway on my rank or whatever but then there were complications and so the ranking was not given huhu. Last quarter's cards out however brought good news and extreme joy hehe. This 25th year edition of Trivial Pursuit is such a steal. Just like Superman joke HAHA. I used to have a weird obsession with board games when I was younger. I was exposed to Monopoly and such and I knew they're a bit pricey so when I discovered the cheap, often Disney themed board games that were sale for only P70 pesos so I'd buy myself a box whenever we'd visit my haven, National Bookstore. 

Mummy Model/Puzzle

This Universal Studios model of a mummy shows my love for monsters and puzzles hehehe. I don't know when it started but I am in love with monsters and mythical creatures that's why this is so perfect hihi it stands 8 inches tall and is well a mummy!!

Canson Watercolor Pad, 200gsm 

200gsm woopie!! It means the paper is thick. I love thick papers hehe they're my best friends whenever I'd paint. Oh and yadda yadda yadda this is included here since I love art.

Lisa Frank Sticker Album + Stickers

 I was deprived of Lisa Frank stuff when I was a kid since the li'il bastards were pricey huhuhu!! That's why now that I know how to save money and all that jazz, I invest on me Lisa Frank goodies hihi. So if you too were deprived, this is for you!!!!!! 

Prang Watercolor Pan

This would go well with the Canson Watercolor Pad hihi! I used to stay away from Prang but then I tried it out and our irreconcilable differences proved to be reconcilable and that's why I like Prang now hehehe.

This was named after me since I've expressed how much I love it. It's like a mouth with an eye inside for me. Russet's 1st Collection: Meraki

I'm so stoked to show you guys my sister's first collection woop woop!! With all the advertising I'm doing, it feels like all the hours I spent hypnotized by the Home Shopping Network has finally paid off. Anyway, here goes my sales lady spiel: 

Do you still not have gifts for your family and friends this Christmas? Have you been too busy/stressed to go tick off the names on your Christmas shopping list? Are you broke? I have solutions for 2 of the 3 questions hehe. Check out Russet's first collection entitled Meraki and since it's online it wouldn't be THAT much of a hassle amirite hehehehe. Give my sister's handmade babies a home this Christmas...please..and..thank you!

Meraki, P280

This baby is a celebrity since she was named after the collection itself. Meraki means to do something with love in some language that I have forgotten already. It's very nice and I hate myself for using that generic word but I really am dumb when it comes to describing accessories huhu but seriously I'D WEAR THIS!! 

Meraki likes long walks on the beach, watching the sunset, reading good books while having a cup of tea every Tuesday. 

Foxxy, P250

Foxxy was named after Foxxy Cleopatra from Austin Powers!! This is Orange-y. If you like the color Orange, you should buy this to prove your love for the said color. Or if you're a fan of Beyonce, you too should buy this. If your favorite color is Orange and your favorite person is Beyonce, you should buy two!

Foxxy is one foxy lady. She likes to solve crimes and hangs out in various parlors. She likes to cook and has 3 cats.

Last but definitely not the least...........we have Gab!!! Hehehe we have me hehehehe!! But sadly nope I am not for sale, but this one definitely is! This is MY baby. The first time I saw it on my sister's table I fell instantly in love with it. I love it because it looks so dainty yet so deliciously gruesome. It seriously reminds me of Mad-Eye Moody from Harry Potter albeit a tea-party-attending Alastor.

My sister's always been Martha Stewart-y what with her various DIY escapades. Seriously, I'm just really excited for my sister since I've seen her work and people have been urging her to start her own business which is what she's finally doing now. 

Russet Accessories offers an array of, well, accessories that suit your dormant bohemian self. These arm candies pack a different punch since even though they look different from each other, they all have that bohemian vibe that unites them hihi. 

The first collection will be released at 8pm this Friday so you guys better stay tuned!!
