I slept after watching and witnessing the Charice fiasco that is X-Factor Philippines and was brought back to the world by my dad at around 5am to finish my workload. I'm now done with English, Physics and Filipino....all that's left is my ABR Research Proposal which I'm sure will only result to me being slapped either literally or figuratively hehe. Around 9 earlier, after going off about Pentatonix and their amazingness over breakfast, I decided to get rid of my proverbial itch and tried to imitate my mum's *insert adjective here* oreo cheesecake.

The recipe said to bake for 45 minutes so I went back to my room and spotted my limerick book hihi. I'm starting to love limericks by the way. They're just so adorable! I might make it a habit of writing one a day hehe. It's the only form of poetry that I can understand along with haikus. 

It wasn't due yet but my sister asked me if it was ready since the smell was different. I checked it out and bam it was! I'm not yet sure if I just wasted a ton of cream cheese huhu but I really really really really hope I didn't.

Cravings Duly Satisfied

Hola! This weekend has seriously relaxed me after this first week of classes. After trying to finish all my school works last Friday (key word: trying!), I spent like half of Saturday submerged in academics. I then went for a jog after a week of sitting on my butt! It felt so good ahhh. I also stayed up watching Dawn of the Dead (2004) and Just Go With It on HBO and man were they worth waking up at noon this Sunday heehee. 

Also, this week, I ran out of the green cupcakes that I baked so by the time Friday and Saturday came, I was a mess who craved for sweets. So earlier, I decided to reload my week's 'baon' supply and baked me some (white) chocolate chip cookies! By the way, am I the only one who can't get enough of cookie dough? For realsies, everytime I make cookies I can't help but a heap of it!! I'm even considering making a batch but instead of baking it, I'll just place it in a container and letting it sit in the freezer hehe.

Lastly, I haven't talked about Perry in a long time! I'm just gonna squeeze him in this entry since this week we found out that my nephew's dog, Amber, died of rabies..and we're just glad Perry didnt have rabies when he bit us!

This weekend has been so good! It's like every craving that I had this week got satisfied heehee. I hope this becomes a pattern! Me slaving for good grades the entire week and then reverting to my old normal self on the weekends haha joke oa!!

Oreo Having a Good Time?

Oreos are heaven sent. Especially Double Stuf. Regular oreos, Golden oreos, Heads or Tails oreos, Winter oreos and every other kind of oreos in the world, you name it, just one bite would have you on your knees and hearing angelic harps or whatnot. The fact that you can buy those instant to go packs for like P6 blows my mind. 

I saw a picture of different colored oreos on facebook and while googling about their existence, I stumbled upon this lovely website. Her tutorial on how to make Sparkly Colored Oreos was what pulled me in. I showed it to my sister and we oooh-ed and ahhh-ed at it aaaaaaaand forgot the open webpage. I was about to close it a while ago when I decided to check out her recipes and tutorials and mother of all things great, she had a couple of recipes which include oreos!! This just makes my love for foodie and family-oriented blogs grow even more!
