Black Market

We didn't have classes yesterday since the Seniors had their National Achievement Test. So Bria, Clarisse, Chloe, Darlene, Jared, Jess, Nath, and Ronald came over so we could work on our research proposals. Coincidentally, today is also Ate Ann, our lovely maid's birthday!!

A buttload of brainstorming occurred because we were pumped and feeling all scientific and research-y the first few hours. But then we had lunch and Bria arrived. After eating, we were all full and sort of feeling lethargic so we just hung out and worked......it gurrrrrrl!! Hahaha we had fun with the wall in our living room; we'd take turns having our photos taken while some would work. Or do nothing hehe.

This sort of resembles a pre-nup picture hehehe

This looks like a screencap hehe

Yay Chloe for finishing the book
Obligatory Cheesecake Picture!

We dawdled a bit inside my sister's room, wherein our hat wearing urges (in which we lack) were satisfied!

When that was finished, Chloe and I went to my room to try and make a cover even if my voice was all husky and...not there. We were totally lost without our beast of a pianist, Lanselle, leading the way to musical success. We just made a bunch of humiliating mini videos hahaha.

Pasta served as our merienda. We were eating, sitting around the coffee table when Ronald or otherwise known as Rada, stood up and went to the kitchen. He came back moments later with a plateful of rice and adobo! Hahaha it turns out he isn't a big fan of pasta hehe so cute.

After eating, we brainstormed some more and ended up watching Bogart The Explorer's videos on youtube. We were laughing so hard and Chloe decided to copy him and dubbed Rada as the Filipinow Rudah (Filipino Rada). I even acted as her cameraman on her quest to look for the Filipinow Rudah in the Mesina Tribe Jungle hahahaha what is auti. I'll probably put that video up sometime after exam week hehe.

The Birthday Girl!
I had so much fun today! Part of what made it fun is that we're all oh so different from one another. Like way different, bordering total opposites. But still, we laughed a lot and ate a lot and gushed over Jared's arms a lot hehe. We'll be seeing a lot of each other this summer!!!

STOP KONY 2012

Posts about Kony 2012 have practically taken over my news feed and twitter dashboard lately and it's only tonight that I decided to watch the video cos I really don't want to work on my plates haha. I know it's quite lengthy and most people wouldn't bother to watch it since it IS quite a stressful week for everyone with graduation/the end of the school year fast approaching, but everyone should take a break from the work and be aware of what's going on.

Perry The Dog

Our family has a dog. We got him last January 23, 2012 from my cousin cos their house was teeming with the canine luvin. Anyway, our dog's name is Perry. Perry is a boy. He likes to whimper like a girl, meow like a cat and bite everything that he sees.

I just wanted to write about Perry because it's been 2 weeks since I last played with him. You see, he bit me last last week, and so I have been restricted from cuddling my meowing dog.

I'm planning on buying a Royal Dandie/Pot-Bellied Pig this summer or whenever I get the money to buy one hehe. Hopefully Perry and Mr. Swine can get along!!

The Floating Bookstore

FRIDAY! Fun fun fun fun day. When my parents picked me up from school, they decided to go straight to the Floating Bookstore.

My dad!

My outfit for the day! Hahaha I feel like a Japanese school girl
On the life boat, where you get to watch an introductory vid about the ship!
While waiting in line. The girl at the cash register was so nice!! Ughh she's like a super hip grandmum hehe love her!
Through the cash registers, the International Cafe can be found as well as the Life X-Perience maze thingy. We didn't stay at the cafe anymore since the line was long and I wasn't really that much hungry. The Life X-Perience thing was sort of an interactive maze, the pictures on the wall could talk hehe or you could just ask the volunteers to give you a tour.

Post It Wall hehe

I really want to be a volunteer someday. Janet, the adorable speaker on the lifeboat from Hong Kong told us that a person has to be at least 18 to join the crew. Oh well, 2 more years!!! The inside of the ship is plain homey. The lighting is so warm and light that it felt like I was in another country or perhaps in a movie heehee.

Me with a crew member!! Hehe
They operate in units there. Meaning, they have their own conversions like 100 units = 100 pesos. The books are surprisingly cheap! They have an impressive collection of the classics, but not so much of the current books. They have lots of children's books and spiritual ones too.

Only for 200 units!

150 units each! I read the first 2 stories of the one on the right last night, they're far out but still cute!

If you like to read or heart starts beating faster when you're inside a bookstore just like me, you should definitely check out the floating bookstore while it lasts. They're here til the 13th I think, at the South Harbor near the Manila Ocean Park!

REYTHER FOR-EYVER

Last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, we had our Intramurals at school! We don't have them annually, the last one was when the Seniors in our school were still in their Freshmen year. These past 2 weeks have been fun fun fun since a whole week of studying and quizzes hasn't been completed yet what with all the events and stuff hehe.

Wednesday was a blur of singing and cheering. The volleyball and badminton games were held on that day. Our team, Reyther, lost by 2 points to the faculty. Hayyyy faculty. After we lost, Chloe, Lanselle and I looked for a piano in school so we can sing and be merry. We found one right in front of the SSG office/headquarters. Our friend Kobe who is part of the Student Council joined us and we had an Adele-fest!! And later that day, while we were inside the fully air-conditioned room, Chloe and I decided to make impromptu musical scenes. Everyone had such a blast! Or at least we did hahahaha. Chloe would 'enter' the scene, greet then ask me a question then Lanselle would go and play an impromptu background music for us and we'd just build our story on the spot! Wednesday was such a musical day.

Thursday was spent the same way. It was very relaxing since our team's game was the last for the day. Again, we lost by 2 points. It was also fun since a lot of the new and old members of the MSHS Chorale attended the practice for the mass the following day.

Lastly, Friday! No more sing-a-thons for me since I sort of lost my voice with all the shouting, cheering and singing. I was part of the cheerleading team hahaha can you believe it? Well, we lost. Again. But seriously, it didn't matter much anymore since I think we're all winners because we all had soooooo much fun *insert cheesy inspirational song here* After the awarding ceremony, the choir decided to play volleyball. Hehehe I suck at volleyball.

What is sweaty hahaha
