Strutting, Mewling, Oinking

On our last day in Subic, we decided to stop over at my grandparents' home in Pangasinan. It's like a 2 hour drive from Subic and a 4 to 6 hour drive from Manila. My uncle together with his family lives with my grandparents and they have a totally wicked pig farm thingy in their backyard!

The clouds were way pretty on our way

I think I have GOT to quit taking pictures of the sky hahaha
When we reached the town of Mapandan, my sister took a break from our singing session in the back seat and had a go with driving our car.

Now what fascinates me the most about their house is that it's like a mini zoo. For realsies. They have pink pigs and native black ones, a ton of dogs and various insects I guess lurking in the mini garden thing they have at the side of the house.

This fella's name is Small! He's apparently too wild to be let loose

Some random dirty pig herrrrng

This one right here is Brownie! He's like the sweetest thing ever to grace this world..joke. He's really mellow which is a breath of fresh air because Perry is such a rascal like 99% of the time.

Just look at him getting all worked up for my uncle! Adorrrrrrable

2 day old Wilburs hehe

This dog doesnt have a name...joke my cousin apparently was the one who named him and since they werent there, my uncle just couldnt recall this poor guy's name

MOTHER PIG COMING TO SQUISH YOU TO DEATH

Scary looking native pig...apparently we ate her daughter...so sorry
Before you get to the pig place thing, you have to pass by this nifty 'work station'. It's a place where you can roast stuff, a place full of lumber and other farm-y stuff that I do not and will never know the function of. Too bad tho cos I seriously am itching to build a house. Haha weird.

My uncle in his zone~

What's also cool about the house is that my grandmum has a gajillion memorabilias(?)! She keeps every photo that we send her, she even tucked away our Zoobic tiger cage picture in her cabinet hehe so cute. Plus she has like tons of figurines and toys from way back. The best part is this cupboard door that has writings on it like old telephone numbers!

Ancient family picture!

My mum hahahaha
Okay, lastly, I wanna talk about Chona. Don't really know the spelling of this wonderdog's name but it's pronounced like sauna but with a ch at the beginning. She's super old and is the most harmless creature I've ever seen. When I first saw her, she was looking at our car and just staring. She then slinked off to go eat her food and go do doggy things. Sad thing tho is she looks super tired with her eyebags which my mum says while going all Cesar Milan on Chona is due to her old age. But the cutest thing is this trick that my uncle does. He calls for her so she lazily goes up to him while he's seated on this super duper comfy chair, he pats his thighs so she goes up and rests her fore legs on my uncle's thighs. He then says 'higa' which is tagalog for lie down, and she does!! She cuddles and rubs her snout against my uncle's thighs! Hehe it was a sight for sore eyes.

Our trip has been filled with so many animals. I never really was a fan of them...until Perry came strutting and mewling in our lives hehe. So to those who hate animals or just generally dislike or simply do not care for them, well I just have one thing to say........................................................................................................hi hahaha joke. Animals are da bomb.

Here's Perry's hipster picture.

  2. My own teen daughter loves to look through our local Goodwill store for
items she can decorate her bedroom with.
Roxcy especially loves decorating a home in wooden
furniture and believes that nothing gives a home as warm and cozy a touch as all-wood furniture and decor.
' Nowadays, you had better have some time stored up along with a few dollars to get that project even halfway done.

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is required to get set up? I'm
assuming having a blog like yours would cost a
pretty penny? I'm not very web smart so I'm not 100% certain.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Therefore all of these needful things should be ready at
hand as any hindrance in the proper progress of the wedding is never desirable.
like sunflowers to the areas that look too sparse. Much thought goes into the Thanksgiving menu, but decorating the table should
    also get some attention.
